Even with a busy year of school and multiple sports, Casey has been working hard preparing for this day. We are so proud of him and can't wait to celebrate with all of you! For those of you who will be unable to travel and join us live, the service will be on zoom as well.

For guests who are not as familiar with the symbolism and traditions of a Bar Mitzvah, here are some guides to help you prepare to celebrate with us:

For his Bar Mitzvah project, Case has joined with Baby2Baby to create back to school backpacks for kids in poverty. Watch his video as he explains more about it and click here to contribute.

Saturday Events

The Main Events

Saturday morning, the service will begin at 9:30 at Congregation Tikvat Jacob, 1829 N. Sepulveda Blvd. The service will be immediately followed by a light kiddush luncheon. 

If you are unable to attend services, or would prefer to join in via zoom, the link will be provided closer to the date. 

Parents/Family of Case's friends are welcome and encouraged to join the service.

Saturday night, the party begins at 7:00 at Common Space Brewery. Case's friends can be dropped off at 7:00 and picked up at 11:00.

Due to capacity, invited guest/guests only

For guests staying at the hotel, transportation will be provided from The Westdrift.

For those traveling from out of town, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Westdrift in Manhattan Beach. We will be staying there as well!

Friday Night:

Friday Night Shabbat Services will be at CTJ at 6:30  followed by dinner at Calo (2191B Rosecrans Ave) at 8:00 for all out of town guests. Please email Lisa by October 15 if you'll be attending dinner

During your spare time, there is so much to see close by. I recommend a quick uber ride to Downtown Manhattan Beach for a walk out to the pier, a jump in the ocean, or shopping and eating in town.
